Rita Durant graduated summa cum laude from Albertus Magnus College, New Haven CT, and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She has practiced for 30 years primarily in the areas of financial and business litigation, including “first chair” jury trial experience. Rita's practice has encompassed a very wide range of commercial, financial and business litigation matters, including especially securities litigation involving all types of disputes. Rita has prepared and participated in a number of lengthy federal jury trials including R.I.C.O., securities, antitrust and class action cases. She has participated in and/or served as lead counsel in dozens of arbitrations, many involving very substantial claims.
